The "Turn your Baby" track is aimed at for any woman whose baby is in any position that is not head down - i.e. breech or transverse. It is a gentle relaxation track which helps a mother-to-be relax and release the pelvic muscles, so giving the baby a little more room, which in turn may encourage the baby to turn if it is safe and right for the baby.

The track is about 30 minutes long and has specific suggestions including:-
  • Techniques to relax the pelvic muscles (sometimes if the hammock like muscles are slightly lop sided or taught it can make it more difficulty for baby to " get into")
  • Positive messages, images and metaphors to help encourage the baby to turn head down
  • An exercise to let go of any fears or concerns
  • Suggestions for physical positions that can help free the baby to move more
  • Increased bonding with your baby
  • Trust in you baby and your body, no matter which position your baby chooses
  • Acceptance that your baby is in the position that is the safest and best for them

"The track is very relaxing. The background music is very calming and the voiceover is timed well with the track. It does not distract you and encourages relaxation. I have to admit I listened to it at the end of a day and am not sure I was ever awake at the end of the track. I certainly slept well afterwards. I liked the fact that to start the track you are encouraged to focus on hands and feet and positioning. I seemed to immediately relax when talking about feeling the weight of your hands, feet and head. I don't relax very easy!
